Admission Requirements
You're automatically admitted if you meet one of the following:
- Unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher (with or without test scores).
- You're in the top 10% of your high school class.
- You meet these GPA/test score combinations:
- GPA: 2.5–2.99 with a 22 ACT or 1110 SAT.
- GPA: 2.25–2.49 with a 25 ACT or 1210 SAT.
- You're a dual credit student with a 2.5+ GPA and at least 12 transferable hours.
If you don’t meet these criteria, you can still apply! We’ll review your application holistically and may request a personal statement.
Thinking about transferring? Here’s what you need:
- 0-11 Hours: Meet freshman requirements & have a minimum 2.5 GPA on transferable hours.
- 12-17 Hours:Minimum 2.5 GPA on transferable hours.
- 18+ Hours: Minimum 2.0 GPA on transferable hours.

We’re excited to welcome students from around the world! Here’s what you’ll need:
- Complete the Â鶹¾«Æ·Texas application.
- Pay the $90 international non-refundable application fee.
- Provide English proficiency scores: TOEFL, IELTS (minimum 6.5), or Duolingo - Scores must be less than 2 years old.
- Submit an evaluation of your international credentials.

- Â鶹¾«Æ· online: Complete your application at and pay the $50 non-refundable application fee ($90 for international applicants).
- Submit transcripts: Upload unofficial transcripts for review. Official transcripts, showing your degree and graduation date, are required once accepted into your program.
