Literacy Block

Fall 2018 EC-6 Literacy Block (READ 3370/3371/3372), 4-8 Literacy Block (READ 3373/3374), Bilingual Block (BESL 4303/4304) and Special Education Block (SPED 4301/4302).

Round 1 Applications: February 19, 2018 - March 9, 2018

Round 2 Applications: April 2, 2018 - April 20, 2018

Round 3 Applications: June 11, 2018 - June 15, 2018

  • You must apply online through (application 2a-1 for EC-6, 2b-2  for 4-8 Math/Math-Science, 2b-2 for 4-8 ELAR and 2c for SPED).

Fall 2018 Literacy Block for IDS-4-8 (READ 3373/READ 3374)

  • Interdisciplinary Studies students (4-8 Math, 4-8 Math/Science, and 4-8 English-Language Arts-Reading/Social Studies) apply online through
  • (application 2b-1 or 2b-2).

Literacy Methods Block Application Instructions

  • Log onto .
  • Click on the "Application" tab.
  • On the left, under Applications, click "Create".
  • From the drop-down list, choose the appropriate application indicated as follows:

2a) Application: EC-6 UNDERGRADUATE Literacy Methods Block  – Fall 2018

2b-1) Application: 4-8 Math or 4-8 Math/Science UNDERGRADUATE Literacy Methods Block –Fall 2018

2b-2) Application: 4-8 English/Social Studies UNDERGRADUATE Literacy Methods Block -Fall 2018

Fall 2018 SPED 4301/SPED 4302 Applications

  • You must apply online through  (application 2c).

2c) Application: E-6 Gen + EC-12 Special Education UNDERGRADUATE Special Education Block  – Fall 2018

  • Complete the Application.
  • Click the "Submit" button.
  • Log out.
