Access Requests
In order to use the Campus Connect platform, SHSU personnel must first request access by completing the . This form is sent directly to the Student Success Technologies team who will then contact you.
If your department needs to deactivate a user鈥檚 access to the Campus Connect platform, you will also need to complete the . Once the Student Success Technologies team receives this request, we will verify that the user is no longer employed at SHSU and will remove access accordingly.
Trainings
All SHSU personnel users are required to complete two trainings before gaining access to the platform.
- Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) training: This training will provide users with an understanding of the federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. This training must be completed every two (2) years.
- Campus Connect Access training: Upon completing the FERPA training, SHSU personnel will also complete a one-time required Campus Connect training to learn about system navigation, functionalities, and uses. After completing this training, refresher trainings can be requested.
The Student Success Technologies team can assign the FERPA training to any personnel who was not required to have the training upon employment based on their job responsibilities. We can also verify the completion of FERPA training.

Technical Requests
If you are experiencing general technology issues or if you are wanting to make technology changes to your care unit & services, please complete the . This form will assist us in troubleshooting your needs and concerns. Upon receiving the ticket, a member from the SST team will contact you for further inquiry as we work towards a solution.
